Finally got a privy digging book for Christmas.. now I need to think about a probe!
To all you privy diggers out there... what should I look for in the best probe?
What length, material, etc?
Where did you get your probe?
TY!

I make quality spring steel privy probes up to 5 feet long. They are made from brand new spring steel and folks call them "singing" privy probes because they do indeed "sing" like a tuning fork. My handle design is different than any other probe on the market and thats what makes them sing. All mig welded construction to last you many years.
Check out my website at

to see some pictures and order your probe.
