historicmapworks.com is a great website for maps. You can find a old map from your area and google overlay todays map. Great way to find places to hunt. Some maps go way back into the 1800's. I use this for field hunting. Find out where old homesites, general stores, postoffice, schools, camp grounds, fair grounds and other things once were. Check it out.

was looking at them the other day. To buy a research map it is only about 3.99 but will have a light watermark on it. Otherwise very nice site for maps.
